ABOUT SIH ONE

Engineering Strategic Clarity for Hackathon Innovators

SIH ONE is an independent, high-performance intelligence platform and strategic discovery cockpit created by Ananay Dubey and Manan Gupta for participants, mentors, and jury evaluators of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026.

Built by Builders, for Builders

SIH ONE was conceptualized and engineered from Chandigarh, India , to democratize access to high-quality hackathon research and architectural blueprints for India's Next 100,000 Innovators.

Our Mission & Purpose

Every year, tens of thousands of engineering and polytechnic student teams across India participate in the Smart India Hackathon. However, teams often struggle to parse through hundreds of complex government problem descriptions, accurately assess 36-hour feasibility, locate authentic open datasets, or structure presentations that meet strict jury criteria.

SIH ONE was engineered to solve these exact friction points. We transform raw administrative notices into actionable technical blueprints, providing 30-second plain English summaries, 5-dimension strategic scorecards (Innovation, 36h Feasibility, Uniqueness, Jury Appeal, and Tech Depth), 6-member team task allocations, day-by-day MVP scopes, and verified open datasets from official government portals.

Dataset Integrity & Verification Methodology

All 226 problem statements (172 Software and 54 Hardware) hosted on SIH ONE are systematically synchronized with the official Smart India Hackathon portal (sih.gov.in). Our technical research team rigorously validates every external dataset against verified open repositories, including:

  • data.gov.in: Open Government Data (OGD) Platform India
  • ISRO Bhuvan: Indian Geo-Platform of ISRO
  • IMD Pune / Delhi: India Meteorological Department Telemetry
  • Hugging Face / Kaggle: Curated Machine Learning Benchmarks

Architectural Philosophy & Local-First Privacy

SIH ONE is built using modern Server-Side Rendered (SSR) Next.js with complete static compilation. We believe student teams should have lightning-fast access to information even in low-bandwidth hackathon venue conditions:

Zero Lag Search

Instant client-side Fuse.js fuzzy index weighted across titles, tags, ministries, and tech stacks.

Local-First Storage

Your team shortlists and votes are preserved in local device storage without requiring user logins or cloud tracking.

Agent Ready (AIO/GEO)
